Financial Policy

Payments or financial arrangements for routine services such as examinations, teeth cleanings, x-rays, and emergency visits are expected at the time services are provided. Insurance claims can be filed by the office or you may file your own claim and be reimbursed directly.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Personal Checks, and Money Orders. Some financing options are available that will allow you to get the help you need now, on approved credit (O.A.C).

Please do not hesitate to ask about the anticipated cost of your treatment. You have the right to know about and understand our charges. We want you to feel that you have been fairly treated. A written estimate will be provided for all complex treatments. We will gladly give you an estimate for routine treatments upon request. A down payment may be requested for more involved, complex, or extended treatment regardless of insurance coverage or predetermination of payment by your insurance company. A 5% courtesy is extended to seniors aged 65 and older and for those patients paying in full at the time of service when the amount is greater than $300.

Dr. Pittaway and our team understand that, due to the high value of dentistry, there are some financial challenges to be expected. When treatment revolves around insurance and financial needs, it can become compromised and more expensive. Help is available to afford much needed treatment! Please ask us about financing options when you call us for your appointment reservation.

Patient Safety

Due to the COVID-19 health challenges we have expanded our sanitizing protocols here at One Dental Care Center. Electrolyzed water – also known as hypochlorous acid (HOCI) – is a safe and effective sanitizing agent, and it can be generated in unlimited quantities with technology we recently installed in our office.

The single most important feature of hypochlorous acid is that it is unusually efficient in eliminating viruses. Research at a FDA-approved lab proved that electrolytically generated hypochlorous acid can kill norovirus in less than one minute at 50 ppm.
